摘要
The Radar Cross Section (RCS) reduction of a foldable microstrip patch array is studied in this work. The proposed array is initially designed with a novel hinge that allows the array to fold approximately 360 degrees. By replacing the ground plane with an appropriately designed Frequency Selective Surface (FSS) an RCS reduction of 10 dB, for both TE and TM polarizations, is achieved in the band where the FSS acts as a passband filter.
