The contribution of the biceps brachii muscle to shoulder laxity in vivo

We measured and compared translational lateral passive movement of the humeral head (HH) with respect to the glenoid cavity in adducted humerus position according to fysiological function and dysfunction of the long head of the biceps brachii muscle. This so-called dysfunction was evoked by a sort of usual electro-stimulation (ES). Although being awared of having found measuring apparatus errors we took significant differences between the translation of HH before and after partial ES of the biceps brachii muscle.
