摘要：
In this paper, Rectangular Dielectric Resonator Antenna (RDRA) is investigated theoretically. To investigate the RDRA, the antenna is assumed as a cavity. The wave equation is solved inside the cavity antenna. Simple transcendental equation is given here to predict the resonant frequency of RDRA. One antenna prototype is simulated to verify our theory. It is found that our theory is in excellent agreement with data obtained using the 3D EM simulator.
