摘要
Since load has a great influence on power system stability, its proper representation in high voltage buses is strictly necessary in order to obtain satisfactory dynamic responses during time domain simulations. This paper shows the development of a composite load model for electric power systems. MATLAB / Simulink is used as a computational tool for both the development and validation of the aforementioned load model. The static (exponential and polynomial) and dynamic (thermostatic-controlled and "Type 2 dynamic motor") load models have been considered. Three-phase short circuits on transmission lines and generation outages to analyze the dynamic response of the load model developed were simulated
