Award for Distinguished Scientific Applications of Psychology: Jacquelynne S. Eccles

The American Psychological Association Award for Distinguished Scientific Applications of Psychology is presented to a person who, in the opinion of the Committee on Scientific Awards, has made distinguished theoretical or empirical advances leading to the understanding or amelioration of important practical problems. Jacquelynne S. Eccles is the recipient of the 2017 award, "for her seminal contributions to our understanding of how social contexts shape child and adolescent development."
