摘要：
Personality disorders are dysfunctional cognitive, emotional and behavioural patterns, these aspects being inter-conditioned to cause interrelation difficulties to various extents. The Narcissistic Personality Disorder is especially a challenge for any psychotherapist, due to its egocentric, manipulative and non-empathetic nature, attitudinal elements present as a constant in all such patients. However, cognitive-behavioural psychotherapeutic intervention prove to be efficient in approaching this personality disorder, due to the collaborative relationship the therapist develops with the patient, and then, due to the techniques and methods specifically structured in CBT; these play a part in deflexibilisation of the maladaptive cognitive schemas which occur in the Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
