摘要：
A new compound, namely [Zn-2(L1)(2)(H2O)](n) (1, H(2)L1 = 5-(benzyloxy)isophthalic acid), was hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR spectra and powder X-ray diffraction. Single crystal x-ray diffraction reveals that 1 features a three-dimensional framework with the tails (phenyl groups) of the organic ligands (L1) effectively filling in the hexagonal channels and playing a template role. Compound 1 exhibits an intense violet photoluminescence in the solid state at room temperature.
