摘要
The damped harmonic oscillator driven by sinusoidal forces has been considered one of the most important and fundamental non-autonomous systems. This Letter proposes a nonlinear feedback controller that generates chaotic behavior in an oscillator driven by sinusoidal forces. The proposed controller, which consists of a nonlinear map and a sample-hold device, can be designed using a systematic procedure, and works well for any periodic force that can be transformed into the Fourier series expansion.
