Youth music festival in the East of Antioquia, Colombia A look from communication and the alternative

This work presents a communicative view of youth music festivals in the Altiplano area of the East of. The work exposes a communicative view of youth music festivals in the Altiplano area of Eastern Antioquia, in Colombia. Review its history, contributions, and difficulties in its context. It is an exploratory study, carried out through interviews and documentary review. The results show that the festivals have served as a strategy for re-signification of space, the appropriation of the territory and an encounter with others and the other. These spaces allow us to glimpse an area of cultural management and alternative communication that is installed as initiatives for social change.
