摘要
Persistent boost of economy results in the dramatic improvement of Chinese people's living standard. However, rapid expanding of economy can be shown to be equal to environmental damaging, enormous resources and energy consumption. Sustainable development has become a pillar strategy of China. Corresponding with this strategy, the ideas of sustainable construction should been imbued into the China's construction industry. Compared with the developed countries, the development of China's sustainable construction is at the primary stage. A deeper and wider transformation of the current construction delivery process should be launched to realize the radical sustainable construction in China context. In this paper, the theories of sustainable development and sustainable construction have been introduced. Then, the method of Construction Process Re-engineering has been used to implement the radical sustainable construction. In the meanwhile, a framework has been established to imbue the principles, methods, and techniques of the sustainable construction into the each mission of process at the project level.
