Integrated Control System for HVAC, Lighting and Blinds as an Energy Saving Strategy in Office Buildings

Energy sating has become a hot issue all over the world Also, the demand for thermal comfort in office building is increasing rapidly: As an energy saving strategy, the integrated control system composed of air-conditioning system, lighting system and blind system was evaluated in terms of energy sating and thermal comfort. The results show that the residents could be kept comfortable as well as it reduced about 40.8 % of the cooing energy and 19.6 % of the lighting energy. The total energy, (kiting measurement, saving rate reached 29.7 %.
