Objective To identify how appropriate program should be implemented targeted college students with disabilities. Methods The students participated in adapted physical education (APE) received up to 30 sessions (60 min long) of standard exercise modalities tailored to the individuals, mainly consisted of aerobic, resistance, extension and medical gymnastics. In accordance with physical situations, running, walking, bicycling, or boating were adopted as aerobic exercise. An interview survey was conducted before the end of semester. Results Based on the interview, the students with disabilities benefited from the APE. All the students deemed that physical exercise was very important and played an active role in mental health. 82% of the students thought it played an important and active role in daily exercise and recovery. Conclustion It is possible that individuals with disabilities may particularly benefit from physical exercise. The combination of exercise prescription and exercise therapy may be the best way for them.
