New phosphinidene- and phosphido-bridged silver clusters

摘要
From the reaction of AgCl with Ph2PSiMe3 and PhP(SiMe3)(2) in the presence of PnPr(3), it is possible to obtain the silver clusters [Ag-24(PPh)(10)(PPh2)(4)(PnPr(3))(6)] (1), which contains both phosphinidene and phosphido bridges, and the ionic duster compounds [Ag-20(Ph)(12)Cl(PnPr(3))(10)](+)[Ag-24(PPh)(10)Cl-5(PnPr(3))(3)](-) (2). Both compounds were characterised by single crystal X-ray crystallography. Compound 1 crystallises in the space group P2(1)/n with cell constants a = 12.134(7) Angstrom, b = 22.194(6) Angstrom, c = 28.642(12) Angstrom, beta = 91.83(3)degrees, V = 10886(7) Angstrom(3) (R = 0.059 for 14219 independent reflections). 2 crystallises in the space group P (1) over bar with the cell constants a = 19.03(3) Angstrom, b = 33.711(4) Angstrom, c = 35.598(1) Angstrom, alpha = 97.40(2)degrees, beta = 103.47(2)degrees, gamma = 91.96(1)degrees, V = 21978(8) Angstrom(3) (R = 0.063 for 52833 independent reflections).
