摘要
Software reliability is defined as the probability that a software system successfully accomplishes all the designed functions as specified for a given period when used under specified operating conditions. This implies that the during the design, development and implementation phases, the prediction depends on the apriori data collected or supplied but during the system life cycle this data has to be updated with new data. Hence the software reliability model has to be adapted with posterior data from the data collection process. This paper will describe a model that will analyze the software system throughout the software system life cycle and demonstrate the software reliability of the software system as a function of its operational use and incremental modifications. The model's primary focus will be to develop the dependency of the software reliability with usage, environment, and the type of data being processed. (C) 2018 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.
