摘要：

In view of the divergent and ill-informed use of the term > anthology < in OT scholarship, the article begins by describing, with the help of writings which are universally regarded as anthologies (mainly from ancient Greece), what is to be understood as an anthology. On this basis phenomena in the Book of the Twelve Prophets which are comparable to Greek anthologies are then identified. These characteristics make it appear plausible that this distinctive prophetic book was designed as an anthology
