摘要
Information guidance within a transportation hub is helpful for the pedestrian evacuation during an emergency. In relation to the cellular automata (CA), this paper created a pedestrian evacuation model to simulate the process of the pedestrian movement with information guidance. The parameters of distance, density, and information guidance are provided to identify the pedestrian movement directions. The influences of parameters under two different pedestrians' view conditions are calibrated. By simulation, the evacuation time in the various densities with or without evacuation signs is compared. Then the impact of the information guidance is analyzed. Provided with information guidance, the pedestrians are less likely to wander and know better where to go. In conclusion, information guidance reduces the evacuation time and makes the pedestrian evacuation more organized, improving the system security. The simulation has theoretical and practical significance for the hub planning and design.
