摘要
Ubicomp educators can inspire students by giving them technically challenging and socially impactful projects and by exposing them to enriching experiences that involve interacting with professionals from different backgrounds. Here, the authors argue in favor of including international experiences in this already rich education and training space, reporting on their engagements on this front through two projects funded by the US National Science Foundation under the International Research Experiences for Students program. © 2002-2012 IEEE.
