Capacitance dependence of critical tunneling resistance for superconductor-insulator transition in two-dimensional network of Josephson junctions

摘要
We investigated the superconductor-insulator (S-I) transition in two-dimensional network of Al/AlOx/Al Josephson junction in detail by varying the junction area S from 0.01 to 0.09 mu m(2). It is observed that the critical tunnelling resistance for the S-I transition exhibits significant S-dependence. The resultant phase diagram was reminiscent of that of Fazio and Schon's theory although we observed some differences at large E(J)/E(C) values.
