Formation of Nuclei with Vacancies during Crystallization of Supercooled Melts

摘要：
This work analyzes the change in the Gibbs free energy during formation of nuclei with vacancies from melt. Formulas to determine dimensions l(k) of the critical nuclei and work A(k) of their formation with respect to the concentration of vacancies and supercooling are obtained. The difference between l(k) and A(k) for real nuclei l(K)(id) and and A(K)(id) for ideal nuclei is shown.
