Intelligent knowledge representation and function implementation models for process planning in manufacturing

摘要
In this paper, a hybrid expert-neural approach is proposed to represent the CAPP knowledge and to facilitate the implementation of CAPP activities. A hybrid expert-neural CAPP knowledge representation model and a hybrid expert-neural CAPP function implementation model are established. The structures of such models are also delineated. The objective of establishing these hybrid expert-neural models is to provide an efficient method for the CAPP systems to automatically represent and obtain the required knowledge, and to adapt briskly to the dynamic manufacturing environment.
