摘要：
This study analyses the word-formation patterns of new words in linguistic terminology and also possible interrelations between the preferred patterns and the special functions of this variety of German. It will be shown that, as in other specialist languages, there are a large number of compounds. However, the number of formations with confixes or affixes from Greek and Latin is also relatively high.
