Recent Advances In Nano Science And Technology 2015 Preface

The international conference on Recent Advances in Nano Science and Technology (RAINSAT-2015) was held in association with CSIR-Central Leather Research Institute, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, on July 8-10th, 2015 in the International Research Centre, Sathyabama University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Papers presented in the conference are included in this proceeding. The themes covered in this proceeding are synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials, carbon based nanomaterials, advanced functional nanomaterials, organic/inorganic nanocomposites, nanotechnology in energy, semiconducting materials, thin films, surface engineering, sensors, supramolecular chemistry, catalysis-nanomaterials, theoretical & computational nanoscience, and bio-nanomaterials. This conference provided a platform for the young researchers, academicians and students to present, share, interact and exchange their ideas with eminent speakers from various regions of India and abroad.
