摘要
Along with the increasingly close of the international economic development and cooperation, the international education exchange and cooperation of domestic universities flourish: the number of teachers and students who exchange, study and train abroad increases, and the number of foreign teachers are increasing year by year. The foreign cooperation of the college administrations, teaching and other levels are deepening. The foreign affairs in colleges and universities are the window of the school foreign exchanges, the bridge for cooperation, the hub of the international exchange, and are also an important part of improving the level of running a school and the training abilities. The cross culture is the most significant feature of foreign affairs in universities. The cultural background and the ideology, communication and behavior norms and the non-linguistic factors affect the intercultural communication of the staff of the foreign affairs. In order to improve the communicative competence of the university staff of the foreign affairs, the author elaborates from the aspects of the good language skills, enhancing the cross-cultural awareness, strengthening the communication and respecting others, and keeping learning and so on.
