摘要
Our innovation is the real-time exact measurement of the traction force during vacuum delivery, using an electronic load cell interceded on the traction handle. The apparatus measures the applied force of traction but can also show the course of the whole procedure on the screen of a portable PC. Documentation is also possible through the computer, using a special communication program with the electronic load cell. The device is useful not only in informing the user about the course of the operation but also in training new personnel for better handling of the extractor, guiding for steadier and less traumatic maneuvers. Recalling the graph on the screen one can advise on the better management of the extractor and also have proof of its justified use.
