AIWIRT: An adaptive and intelligent Web information retrieval tool for web-based learning

摘要
In the paper, we propose and develop an adaptive and intelligent Web information retrieval tool (AIWIRT) which search the relevant information on the Internet to assist students' Web-based active teaming. More specifically, AIWIRT is built upon information retrieval technology, neural network, reinforcement, and symbolic machine teaming methods. In AIWIRT, Students' teaming characteristics, background, and teaming goal are used to create queries, then the retrieved web documents are parsed, presented, and navigate in the most appropriate way to support student-centered, self-paced, and highly interactive learning.
