摘要：

With the rapid development of information technology, the multimedia technology has exerted the positive effect on classroom teaching in universities. In this article, the main problems about Specified English teaching for automation are analyzed based on teaching practice. The developing progress of multimedia courseware of specified English for automation and its important role in the teaching progress are explained according to the character of the course. Some suggestions of its application are offered.
