摘要
This paper proposes an ac-dc converter with isolation and reduced number of power components. The proposed converter combines a totem-pole bridgeless PFC rectifier and a half-bridge LLC resonant converter into an integrated circuit topology. The front-end stage of the proposed converter is designed to be operated in continuous-conduction mode (CCM) using Silicon-Carbide (SiC) MOSFET, and the dc-dc stage offers attribute of soft switching on the power switches. The proposed converter features cost-effectiveness, high efficiency and low input current total harmonics distortion. A 500W prototype of the proposed converter is developed, and the efficiency of the converter reaches up to 94.5% with 1.74% input current THD at output power 500W.
