摘要
An experimental study on air gasification of polypropylene ( PP) with 2mm in particle diameter was carried out in a 100mm inner diameter, 3.5m total height gasifier. The experimental results indicated that the main fractions of the combustible as components were C2Hm ( m = 2, 4, 6) and CH,. The other components ( CO and H-2) were produced with lower concentrations in the temperature range of 650 - 750 degreesC. Increasing the gasifier temperature increased the concentrations of CH4, CO and H-2 and decreased the concentration of C2Hm. At higher bed height, the concentrations of CH4 and H-2 increased slightly and CO remained constant. The tar and char yield were low and decreased with the gasification temperature. As the equivalence ratio was increased, the gasifier temperature increased due to the higher degree of combustion.
