Phonon-related exciton relaxation in CdSe self-assembled quantum dots

摘要
We use resonant photoluminescence (PL) and Raman scattering to investigate carrier relaxation mechanisms in CdSe self-assembled quantum dots. We observe strong coupling of optical phonons to excitons localized in CdSe dots which suggest that optical phonons are strongly involved in the carrier relaxation processes.
