An experimental study of a development and management platform for distributed applications with support to quality of service and security

摘要
This paper describes the results obtained from the experimental study of Quality of Service (QoS) and security integrated management model for computer networks. A middleware called CriptoQoS, was designed using this model to support the implementation of distributed applications, making the developers able to use QoS and security concepts on their projects without the need of specific knowledge of these areas. The impact of the CriptoQoS utilization is evaluated through the maximum throughput evaluation, protocol overhead, QoS services analysis and scalability.
