Demand in academic training on underwater archaeology has increased considerably in recent years. Students, with a higher level of training, look for courses and experiences that allow them to obtain the skills and competencies necessary for research. Throughout this work we present a brief tour of the training experience in underwater archaeology in Spain but, above all, we present some case studies carried out within the framework of the Master of Nautical and Underwater Archaeology. Through intensive practical training program seeks to involve students in research projects so that their training is practical and direct with real problems of underwater archaeology.
