摘要
Mesoporous materials, MCM-41 and silica-supported Rh catalysts and Rh promoted with Sn catalysts, have been prepared by using organometallic complex as metal precursor and tin (II) acetate as metal promoter. Supports and catalysts have been characterized by different techniques. Catalytic behaviour in the vapour phase for the hydrogenation of crotonaldehyde (but-2-enal) has been also analyzed. Results show that catalysts containing Rh-Sn promoted and MCM-41 as supports are, in general, more selective than the silica support. In addition, the former catalysts are more active towards the hydrogenation of the carbonyl bond to yield crotyl alcohol than the silica support.
