All-optical bistable transistor in photonic crystals

摘要
We demonstrate all-optical switching in a nonlinear photonic crystal cross-waveguide geometry with instantaneous Kerr nonlinearity, in which the transmission of a signal is reversibly switched on and off by a low power control input.
