Coordinated decentralized adaptive feedback control of interconnected power systems

摘要
The conventional distributed local power system stabilizers (LPSSs) parameters based on any single model are probably not optimal and may limit the stabilizing effect. A decentralized adaptive output feedback control design is proposed for large-scale interconnected power systems under the assumption that the reference trajectories are known to all subsystems. Based on that information, a linearly parameterized neural network is used to model the interconnection effects online. To illustrate the adaptive controller described above, the performance of the wide area adaptive feedback controller and coordination with local power system stabilizers (LPSSs) through multi-agent system technology is put forward using a 4-machine, 11-bus system. Based on limited testing, the simulation results show that the proposed robust controller can effectively damp system oscillations under range operating conditions.
