摘要：
The ethical dimension is becoming increasingly important worldwide. Medicine has for too long neglected this essential component of the doctor-patient relationship. Faculties of medicine do not invest enough time and effort in teaching ethics, which is a branch of philosophy and should be taught to under-graduates and postgraduates, along with other areas of the humanities. This teaching should be bound \to medical practice and should be aimed at developing an internal system for analyzing situations from an ethical point of view, in parallel with technical considerations. Workshops on medical ethics may help to resolve ethical dilemmas. Each doctor has a responsibility in developing his/her personal horizon, in order to better tackle the dilemmas encountered in daily practice.
