摘要：
This paper shows a special laboratory design to prevent (photometric) confounding variables in psychological lighting research. While enabling researchers to vary one particular independent variable without changing others at the same time, the design also aimed at a maximum flexibility and adaptability to different research questions. The laboratory was built in 2013 and has been successfully used in a number of investigations.
