Real estate maintenance - a strategic approach

Determining strategies for the maintenance of buildings is fundamental and significant for their operation and management. In practice however, little value is attached to this task quite often. The present article introduces a model for a rational determining of appropriate maintenance strategies for individual building components. Thus, necessary basic information and conditions for a meaningful strategy selection are taken into account. This tool constitutes an element for the systematic maintenance of buildings.
