摘要
The article is the result of a doctoral research that is being conducted, related to the need of developing the pedagogical professional identity in the initial formation of History-Marxism students at the University of Holguin. The objective consisted in presenting an experience of the subject group Introduction to the Specialty, in order to stimulate the identification of students with the profession and the career. Priority was given to the use of qualitative research methods, focused on the systematization of experiences, with the help of the hermeneutic method to interpret the meanings that emerge from the actions carried out. The results showed that the Program of Introduction to the Specialty, contributes to a greater self-recognition of students as future educators, and to a more affective involvement in the activities to which they are summoned, from the assumption of the social meaning of their mission.
