摘要
The traffic safety situation in mountainous areas of China is becoming more serious with increasing traffic volume and highway mileage, so effectively preventing traffic accidents on mountainous highways and improving the operability of potential accident black spot identification is crucial. Based on the 5-year traffic accident data from a typical mountainous highway and analysis of road conditions, this paper analyzes the temporal-spatial distribution of traffic accidents under different road conditions through the descriptive statistical analysis. K-means clustering is used to extract the high-risk geometric alignment parameters of mountainous highways, and the effective safety improvement measures are systematically summarized. The results show that the road conditions significantly affect the occurrence of traffic accidents, and traffic accidents show obvious piecewise classification and aggregation characteristics under specific road alignments and traffic environments. Potential accident black spot identification and active safety management of the mountainous highway can provide certain support for safety design.
