摘要
In order to effectively improve forest fire monitoring, the paper presents a new system based on Zigbee and GPRS technology, which consists of some sensor nodes, the coordinator, and monitoring system. This system is able to overcome the traditional drawbacks of forest fire monitoring. This paper discusses in detail the hardware design of the sensor nodes and the coordinator node design. After testing, the system works stability, and is able to effectively complete forest fire monitoring, alarm, and accurately provide the fire alarm according to the node address. It is worthy of promotion and application.
