Inkjet 3D printed Venturi Microflowmeter

摘要
In this paper we present a 3D printed flow meter based on venture tube. Diameter of printed microchannel is 800 um for wider and 400 um for smaller channel. Application of different types of pressure sensors were investigated: differential, absolute and digital barometer. Results of measurements for differential pressure/flow and calculation of liquid flow are showed. Presented microfluidic device can be also easily adapted for modular systems. The developed flow meter is the first demonstrator of integration of commercially available MEMS sensors and 3D printed microfluidics structure in one structure.
