摘要：

This contribution is a very personal record. It mixes anecdotal details with academic and scholarly reflections, presented from the perspective of a German comparatist who, as a member of the editorial committee, has had the pleasure of experiencing the work of the RLC first-hand. Franco-German cooperation is at the heart of this exploration of comparative literature as a discipline that has flourished around the globe.
