摘要
The need for sustainable development has been widely recognized by governments and enterprises and has become a hot topic of various disciplines including ergonomics and industrial engineering. Initiatives in this domain will be more successful if they follow an integrated approach. For instance, the conventional production planning and controlling (a methodology used in industrial engineering) considers resources, such as material, labor and production capacity at its respective costs, but often neglects the role of ergonomic factors. The goal of this paper is to provide an overview of ergonomic factors which influence sustainable production planning and controlling in manufacturing enterprises. These influencing factors are discussed based on a root cause analysis. A root cause diagram is shown illustrating the relationships between sustainable production planning and controlling and ergonomic factors.
