摘要
Plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) has both characteristics of hybrid and electric vehicle. It is more important to operate PHEV appropriately to achieve better performance. In this study a power management strategy based on Pontryagin's minimum principle (PMP), an optimal control theory, for series plug-in hybrid electric bus is developed. For the proper application of the power management strategy, correlation between characteristic of driving cycle and control factor of the strategy is also analyzed. From forward simulation results, it is shown that the application of PMP-based power management strategy is effective to achieve efficient fuel economy and better battery maintenance.
