摘要
Flooding location, its consequences as well as insurers responsibility and citizens' trust, lead to a debate on policies for sustainable investments. The facts' interpretation is supported by periodical press data from 1900 to 2015 with a tested 84.3% approximation to reality concerning the Hydrographic Basin of the river Vez. This research's innovation as to do with the value of the insurance policy, taking into account the distance between the point of the exposed element and the nearest river course in the rainiest months. The methodology allows yet to evaluate and readjust, throughout time, the effects of the factors and the policies on property value and/or real estate. These factors contribute to public investments savings, both of insurers and insured. A readjustment to insurance policy's membership rate is proposed. With this methodology a fairer insurance policy's value can be offered to the interested parties, adapting it to hydrological and investment sustainability.
