A new approach to risk assessment of lead intoxication

摘要
In the process of dynamic clinic-experimental studies we have revealed the effect of a number of nonspecific therapeutic methods (hypnotherapy, acupuncture as well as an intake of ascorbic acid or adaptogens) on urinary excretion of lead. The content of lead in blood and urine was determined using the method of atomic-absorption spectrometry. The method of lead intoxication risk assessment depending of lead content in urine following either hypnotherapeutic effects, or acupuncture has been developed on the basis of data obtained.
