摘要：
We present a brief review of time-varying spectral analysis and we discuss the applicability of the methods to the case of x-ray bursts where it is known that there are time-varying frequency components. A preliminary, analysis is done on x-ray burst the experimental data. Two methods are presented to estimate the instantaneous frequency and both methods give approximately the same results.
