Several upper and/or lower bounds to nodal voltage variations are derived in this paper, by exploiting what we call the Hermitian power equations of power systems. Bound inequalities are established for nodal voltage variations in terms of singular values of structural characteristics of power systems, which are running at steady-state equilibria and subject to nodal active/reactive power injection increments and structural perturbations. The results can be employed for robustness and sensitiveness evaluation of static voltage stability without load flow computations. Examples are provided to illustrate the results.
