Innovations on stability control of roadways within soft strata in underground coal mines in China

摘要
This paper presents three different and innovative methodologies for stability control of underground roadways within soft rocks in coal mines. The mechanism of destressing above a roadway is analyzed. The injection through rockbolts with cement grout for excavation stabilization is also described. The results are compared to those obtained using steel arches. Finally, a two-dimensional yieldable floor heave control mechanism is described.
