摘要
The usefulness of serum mucin-like glycoprotein antigen (KL-6) as a marker for preoperative risk factor in hepatitis C was evaluated in this study. KL-6 has been recognized as highly specific marker of interstitial pneumonia. Elevation of scrum KL-6 is occasionally seen in advanced hepatitis C patients. We investigated 16 patients who had hepatitis C. Ten patients were underwent surgical treatments, remains received conservative therapies. Pretreatment serum KL-6 value and hematological parameters including serum albumin, alanine amino transferase, lactate dehydrogenase, gamma-globulin, platelet count and the indocyanine green retention rate at 15 min (ICG-15) etc, were recorded and correlated with KL-6 value. KL-6 was statistically correlated with ICG-15 (p=0.006), whereas no significant correlation was observed with any of the other parameters. KL-6 may be a useful marker of preoperative risk factor in advanced hepatitis C.
